Stare druki w zbiorach Biblioteki Muzeum Etnograficznego w Krakowie

Abstract
Library of the Ethnographic Museum in Cracow has a long and checkered history, which depends not only on the historical storms, but also the human factor. Since its inception, the Ethnographic Museum in 1911, the library has collected a large collection of historical value, including books, magazines and cartographic materials. Especially valuable is the collection of old prints. This article attempts to synthetic discuss about books arisen to the 1800s. They include prayer books, bibles, herbals, encyclopedias, studies of political relations, and others. The analysis also includes the ways in which they were purchased. These materials have not only a historical value but also high artistic signifi cance. So binding, illustrations, and fonts have been characterized shortly.
