Wydawnicze dzieje twórczości Heleny Mniszkówny w latach 1909–1989

Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the history of editorship done upon the works of Helena Mniszkówna (the emblematic writer of Polish popular literature addressed to women) in the years 1909–1989, that is from the fi rst edition of Trędowata to the symbolic end of Polish People’s Republic. The research materials constitute of paper editions from Poland in its historical borders and Kiev because that is where the fi rst works of the writer were published. The issues that were characterized include: book range during the whole period and in selected subperiods (i.e. during the time of partitions, Second Republic of Poland and Polish People’s Republic), chronology and geography of specifi c issues, participation of particular companies in making the work of Mniszkówna available to readers, the formal qualities of each issue and their artwork (mainly the covers and illustrative material). The appendix is composed of bibliographic collation of Mniszkówna’s books from the given period.
