Prosecutor’s Office as an element of organizational and legal guarantees of the protection of human rights and freedoms in Ukraine

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of the prosecutor’s office as an important element of the human rights mechanism and the institute, which effectively acts as a human rights institution in the field of ensuring the fundamental rights and freedoms of cit- izens. The author focuses on the problematic issues of the work of the prosecutor’s office, and notes that the selection of the human rights function of the prosecutor’s office indicates the formation of a special legal and social policy of the state aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of men and citizens.
