PROSPECTS OF COMPARATIVE LEGAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article highlights contemporary stage of comparative legal research development. In the author’s opinion, functioning of contemporary comparative law is characterized by: 1) further development and formation of methodological principles of legal comparative studies; 2) tendency for the study of similarities and differences of various legal systems and legal cultures; 3) polyfunctionality (multifunctionality) of contemporary comparative law; 4) combination of axiological and comparative approaches; 5) relative structure of the comparative research levels; 6) dominance of comparative legal method; 7) implementation of legal transplantation in modern legal comparative studies; 8) combination of theoretical and praxeological aspects in modern comparative legal studies.
