Protection of national producers with the use of tariff methods

Abstract
The article investigates the mechanism and purpose of tariff methods used to protect national producers. The provisions of the national law dedicated to safeguard measures in trade enshrined as special types of duties are analyzed. Attention is paid to the features of use of special, anti-dumping and countervailing duties. The inadmissibility of identifying safeguard measures in trade as measures against unfair competition is investigated.
