Przygotowanie motoryczne w środowisku wodnym - zdolności siłowe i szybkościowe

Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 5

Abstract

An adequate level of motor skills, including strength and speed, is essential for day-to-day activities as well as for optimal motor preparation in sports. Adding aquatic training to a land-based training schedule can improve the therapeutic and training process. Specific properties of water create a perfect environment for developing strength, power and speed. As far as the resistance and plyometric training is concerned, water-based protocol causes less post-training muscle damage and soreness. Combining land-based and aquatic therapy or training can ensure better therapeutic and training results.
