PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL BASES OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES TEACHING FOR NON-PHILOLOGICAL SPECIALTIES’ STUDENTS

Abstract

The article deals with theoretical substantiation of psychological and pedagogical principles of learning foreign languages in higher education. Identifies the role of the teacher in the process of foreign language training in higher education. High-lights the basic requirements and objectives to a foreign language teacher. Studies different prerequisites for improving the efficiency of foreign language training of non-philological specialties’ students. The textbook is determined as primary means of foreign language learning.
