Psychological and Pedagogical Support in the Process of Socialization of Pupils of Residential Institutions

Abstract
The article deals with aspects of the process of socialization of orphans and children deprived of parental care who live in residential institutions. The author identifies negative features of institutional education and provides a psychological and pedagogical description of orphans and children deprived of parental care. The main focus of the article is on the analysis of the main stages of psychological and pedagogical support in the process of educating orphans, which includes the unity of diagnostic, corrective-developing, rehabilitation, psychoprophylaxis and advisory work.
