Public Mechanisms of Countering Shadowing Economy in Ukraine as an Element of Economic Safety.

Abstract
The article describes the prerequisites for the need to improve the mechanism of state regulation of the process of counteracting the development of the shadow economy of Ukraine. The main mistakes made by state bodies of economic transformations in the 1990s were determined, which influenced the level of the shadow economy in modern Ukraine. The duality of the shadow economy is defined. The main models of state regulation of the counteraction of the shadow economy, used by different countries with different levels of economic development and peculiarities of their application, are singled out.
