Quality of electric energy on tires of own needs of traction substations of electrified railways

Abstract
The purpose of functioning of own needs of the traction substation is to ensure uninterrupted and reliable operation of power equipment and relay protection circuits and traction substation automation. One of the important factors in ensuring the reliable operation of the equipment of own needs is observance of the necessary indicators of the quality of electric energy in order to ensure reliable operation and efficient use of the electrical equipment. The main purpose of this work was to study the performance of electrical energy quality on the tires of own needs of trac-tion substations of direct and alternating currents. As a result of the research, it has been estab-lished that the electricity quality indicators for domestic needs tires are largely adhered to, but it is advisable to take measures to equalize the levels of voltage and the consumed currents by sup-ply phases.
