Quantitative indicators of the norms of legal responsibility for crimes against property in the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR of 1922

Abstract
The article discusses the reasons for adopting the Criminal Code of the USSR in 1922 and makes calculations of the quantitative characteristics of articles regulating responsibility for crimes against property. The codified act was characterized by a significant range of sanctions, ranging from fines of 100 carbs. gold to a higher degree of punishment, which made it possible to build a staircase of punishment for crimes against property. The non-systematic character of the statement of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR in 1922 was shown, in which such crimes were contained in three Sections-II, IV, VI, of which the largest sum of marks belonged to Section VI, which was 9,57 % of the total number of signs of the act.
