Abstract
The aim of this paper was to enunciate the effectiveness of radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) and physical exercises in the treatment of various chronic enthesopathies. The paper presents the cases of patients who was treated for tennis elbow and patellar tendinopathy. Patients undergo three sessions of radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (8 Hz; 1.5-2 bars; 4000 shocks) at 1-week intervals in combination with three week exercise training.
