Radiological Examination: What Does an Endocrinologist Need to Know

Abstract
The paper presents the report of the radiologist A. Мangov, who took part in the scientific-practical conference "Recent advances in Clinical Endocrinology." The speaker focused on endocrinology such topical issues as the visualization of diabetes complications, imaging of neuroendocrine tumors and pituitary tumors. The proper choice of imaging technique depends on timely diagnosis and treatment. When choosing a radiological procedure is necessary to know the features of the visualization of various organs and systems, and manifestations of the disease. The article also demonstrated clinical cases, which shows the possibilities of different imaging techniques. The speaker said that the company "Farmak" produces drugs for diagnostic tests with intravenous enhancement for CT (Tomoskan, Tomogeksol) and MRI (Tomovist).
