REACTIVE RESPONSE OF NEUTROCYTES OF PERIPHERAL BLOOD OF CHILDREN OF MIDCHILDHOOD (7–10 YEARS OLD) WITH VISION PATHOLOGY

Abstract

The aim of the investigation is to study functional status of reactive response of neutrocytes of peripheral blood of children of midchildhood who have vision pathology. Materials and methods. It was done lab examination of children who are 7–10 years old. They study at secondary school № 17 of Sloviansk of Donetsk region and specialized boarding school № 23 for blind children and for children who have impaired vision. The group of children who study at Sloviansk secondary school contained 31 children, and another group of children included 14 boys and 17 girls. Examined group of children of the same age included 30 children, among them there were 16 boys and 14 girls. All children were previously examined by medical specialists (by family doctors, ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, and other ones. Reactive response of neutrophils of blood in children who are 7–10 years old with vision pathology was evaluated by the index of the reactive response of neutrocytes, neutrophil and lymphocytic coefficient, by the index of displacement of neutrophils and leukocytes, by the index of general congenital reactivity and resistance of organism with vision pathology and also it was considered the general immunological reactivity of boys and girls organism who are 7–10 years old with vision pathology. Received results were processed by program MUSTAT.12 (USA). The accuracy of results was calculated by Student criterion. The difference was accurate at Р > 0,05. Results. Index of correlation of neutrophilic leukocytes and monocytes assists in the correlation of components of microphagous and macrophagous systems that takes part in nonspecific anti-infective protection. Index increase of neutrophils and monocytes in children with vision pathology on 6,06%, indicates nonspecific protection of organism in children who are 7–10 years old and polymorphonuclear neutrophilic leukocytes play key role which produce protective role from penetration into organism different microorganisms and substances that have antigen properties. Tendency of increase displacement of neutrophils on 7,5% and index of leukocyte displacement on 3,66% indicates inflammatory processes and disorders of immunologic reactivity formation on antigenic stimulation. There is an increase on 4,55% of nonspecific reactivity of children with vision pathology who are 7–10 years old. According to the index of reactive response of neutrocytes, reactive response of these immunocompetent cells of peripheral blood of boys who are 7–10 years old with vision pathology predominates on 54,08% in girls with vision pathology. It is approved by increase of neutrophil and lymphocytic coefficient on 6,52%, indices of neutrophils displacement on 2,38% and leukocytes displacement on 4,12%, and also tendency to increase of а lymphocytic and granulocytic coefficient on 6,31%, index of neutrophils and monocytes correlation, correlation between absolute number of leukocytes and erythrocyte sedimentation rate on 22,86%, leukocytic (on 6,52%) and lymphocytic indices (on 5,85%). Besides, girls with vision pathology who are 7–10 years old have the tendency to the increase on 4,65% of nonspecific resistance, immunological reactivity on 8,97%, and general resistance in girls with vision pathology predominates on 40,54% of general resistance of boys of this age with vision pathology. Conclusions. So, cellular reactivity of children who are 7–10 years old with vision pathology depends on sex and indices, characterizing reactive response of neutrophils of peripheral blood. Boys have on 54,08% disposition to the increase of reactive response of neutrophils in comparison with girls who are 7–10 years old with vision pathology. Children with vision pathology have decreased level of reactive response of neutrophils of peripheral blood. Prospects for further investigations. Received results are the main basis to study the influence of means and ways which are directed to improve adaptive processes of cellular reactivity of children with vision pathology who are 7–10 years old.
