REALISATION OF THE EVALUATIVE VOCABULARY ON THE MORPHOLOGICAL LEVEL IN EARLY CHRISTIAN LATIN PROSE LITERATURE: THE SUFFIXES (BASED ON «THE CONFESSIONS» BY AURELIUS AUGUSTINUS)

Abstract
The article defines and describes means which express evaluation at the morphological level. Among them we distinguish actually morphological and derivation. To morphological means we refer degrees of comparison of adjectives and adverbs. The lexemes emotional sound and evaluation are achieved by means of word formation have been analyzed, among them are diminutives. The functional features of diminutive suffixes have been examined: their ability depending on the context and intonation express decrease, trifle, smallness or act as carriers of both meanings.
