Reasons of Ishkal in Holy Book Qoran According to Maturidi

Abstract
The Holy Book Quran itself proves being Word of the God as it contains no contradictions. If the Holy Book Quran being contradiction free is a proof for being Word of the God, on the contrary, containing contradiction shows that it is not the Word of the God. From this point of view, claims about contradiciton exists between the Quran verses has been discussed. Thus this truth is at the same time forms the attacking point for opponents of Islam. The problem shaped around the claims about contradiction exists in the Quran, is called “İskhal/Mushkil” in the traditional way and forms its own literature. This article will briefly dwell on the İskhal concept then define Ebu Mansur Muhammed el-Mâturîdî's ideas about the reasons of iskhal. This work shaped around the observations on the Mushkil verses in “Te'vîlâtu'l-Kur'ân” by Maturidi. When we research the Maturidi’s Te’vilat it’s seen that the reasons of the ishkal classified in several articles. The most important of them is the assessing the first meaning of the word. According to him, the verses of the Quran must be understood whith the meaning of Word that he called meaning ‘hikmah’. He means with the ‘hikmah meaning’ what the speaker intends when he speaks. The other reasons of the ishkal are approaching to Quran with preduic commenting of the verses out of context and without taking into the caracteristics of Arabic language that Quran was sent conveyed.
