This work will also be useful to understanding of social connections forming around the objects of prayer honouring. The author makes conclusions, that the coffins, shrines, tombs and reliquaries were important as a communications shaping factor. The assignment of entombments related responsibilities between the monks and novices of the cloister as well as between external merchants and artisans was clearly articulated. The Lavra executive were very responsible at every stage of entombments related working processes. For Lavra brethren the saints’ tombs were significant information-carrying mediums in communication with prayers. The relations with manifold donators connected with holy relics receptacles were regularized. The monks were on mettle to make these relations predictable. The ulterior spiritual and material motives for the replacement of holy relics into new or repaired receptacles need subsequent research on the base of a wide range of official and private sources.
