RECIPE FOR EFFECTIVE CRIMINAL LAW MECHANISMS FOR THE PROTECTION OF STATE SECRETS IN JAPAN

Abstract
The article deals with the research of the experience of criminal law regulation of the state secret of Japan. This state was chosen like the one characterized by a developed economy and the high level of influence over the geopolitical situation in the world. The purpose of the article is that not only progressive legal norms, but also compliance of traditionality and paternalism in the society is the key to the effectiveness of the protection of state secrets. The research Japanese experience and tendencies is in order to find optimal variants of the development of effective mechanisms to protect state secrets in Ukraine.
