RECREATIONAL ROLE OF FORESTS IN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract
The article defines the word "recreation" and “recreational tourism”. It is described tourist and recreational resources of Kazakhstan, which are attractive for the presence of mountain, recreational, natural, water and excursion zones. The forest use of Kazakhstan for cultural and recreational purposes is described. Classification of recreational forest landscapes (types, series and groups of landscapes) is given, as well as 5 stages of recreational digression (disturbance) of forests visited by humans. One of the necessary conditions for the stands of recreational forests is their livability, which refers to the general condition of the stand, the quality of its growth and development, the level of natural renewal. The aesthetic estimation of recreational forests is presented too. It is necessary to separate zones of different intensity of visits in recreational forests and to maintain sanitary conditions at the site, it is necessary to conduct sanitary cuttings in a timely manner.
