REDUCE OF POLLUTION CAUSED BY TRAFFIC USING INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

Abstract
Intelligent transport systems (ITS) are in a continuous development that has been greatly accelerated in the last years by the advance of the information technology. With this progress ITS begun to concern more about aspects of related fields such as environment. In this paper is presented a project that aimed to implement a traffic/transport information system for the citizens with the purpose of decreasing the travel time, the fuel consumed and the emissions.
