REFORMS: DECLARATION OF INTENTIONS OR METHOD OF RENEWAL

Abstract
The article examines the possibilities of implementing reforms in the customs and tax areas, which are planned by the Strategy of Sustainable Development «Ukraine – 2020». Indicators of the country's development are given upon the traditional world indicators of ease of doing business, the index of competitiveness, perception of corruption. The possible reasons for the delay in the planned reforms of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine are investigated, since this particular state institution is the body that ensures the processes of cooperation and interaction in the international environment regarding to customs affaris issues. There are determined criteria in which successful implementation and viability of reforms are possible.
