Abstract
На основі концепції людського розвитку здійснено порівняльний регіональний аналіз якості життя в Україні. Ідентифіковано роль регіонів у забезпеченні загальнонаціонального людського розвитку. Для більшості областей держави характерні високі показники відтворення населення, соціального стану та освіти. Економічні умови потребують покращення. Дослідження тенденцій якості життя на рівні областей дасть змогу усунути регіональні диспропорції розвитку та сформувати державну соціальну політику, враховуючи територіальні відмінності. The modern international community has recognized the quality of life as one of the main characteristics of the level of social countries development. The quality of life is an integral concept that involves an analysis of all spheres of society’s life. In international practice the Index of Human Development (HDI) is most often used to characterize the quality of life. Ukraine ranks 84st out of the HDI and belongs to high-growth countries mainly due to higher levels of literacy and lifetime compared to third-world countries. GNI per capita in the country is the lowest among the countries with a high level of development. At the same time special conditions, this can both improve and worsen the quality of life of the population, inherent in each specific region and settlement. Therefore, the task of studying regional features of quality of life appears. The national methodology for determining the Regional Human Development Index involves an analysis of 33 indicators, grouped in six blocks. The identified groups of factors have a specific impact on the peculiarities of human development in each region. A comparative regional analysis of the quality of life in Ukraine is carried out on the basis of the Concept of Human Development. The role of regions in providing national human development is identified. High rates of population reproduction, social position and education are typical for most of the country’s regions. Economic indicators (employment, labour conditions and wages, living conditions) need to be improved. The investigation of quality of life at the regional level will help to eliminate regional disproportions in development and form the state social policy taking into account territorial differences.
