REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT FAMILY IN AMERICAN FAMILY MOTION-PICTURE FILMS: AXIOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract
In the article on the material of American family films the means of linguistic representation of the axiological aspect of the concept FAMILY are revealed. The axiological aspect is considered as a part of the value component of the linguistic-cultural concept. Clusters with the lexeme family, conceptual metaphors, lexemes that are included in the associative field of the concept FAMILY are analyzed. Emotionally colored collocations with the most frequent lexemes on the designation of family members are investigated. It is been proven that a positive family image is created in American films for family viewing.
