Representing social and political realia of Ukrainian modern life in British publicistic discourse

Abstract
The notion of realia as an important element of Ukrainian social and political life is considered and clarified in the article. Particularly, ways of representing social and political realia of Ukrainian modern life in British mass media are analyzed. The most frequently used way of representing these realia is specified; it is also analyzed how appropriate the choice of this or that way is.
