Reputation Risk Insurance as a New Product on the Insurance Market

Abstract
Corporate reputation is nowadays exposed to a number of internal and external threats. In the current information age, reputation risk is being multiplied by technological advances in the field of IT. a particular danger is the growing use of the Internet and social media. Therefore, the need to protect reputation is increasing. One way to deal with this problem is to insure the reputation risk. The purpose of the article is to present the specificity of reputation risk insurance as a new product offered for several years on the insurance market and to indicate the development prospects for this sector.
