RESEARCH METHODOLOGY OF THE FUTURE MUSIC TEACHER’S DESIGN SKILLS

Abstract
Pedagogical activity of the modern teacher is stipulated by the expansion of the range of professional activities, the complexity of accumulation and processing of educational information. This creates problems of optimization of the educational process and the need for effective technology training, the introduction of professional training of future teachers using innovative approaches. Introduction of these approaches into the educational process of higher educational institutions actualizes the problem of formation of future teacher's creative, intellectual and special abilities. In particular, the design skills will provide the opportunity to effectively carry out teaching activities in accordance with goals and conditions, and stipulate the willingness of the teacher to the solution of theoretical and practical problems. It was necessary to determine the condition for their main components in different segments of teaching periods, and to continuously compare its progress with the state of the most significant figures, characteristics in order to properly organize and manage the design activities. The data analysis of the design skills under research gave the opportunity to determine how prospective teachers understand their essence, interaction. When analizing a segment of the educational process possessing a particular closed form, we can observe both how a future teacher understands the object of his / her activities and his / her methodological skills. The personal criterion designating the formation of the design skills of the future music teachers was revealed through the following indicators: relation to a design activity; motives for using design skills in the educational-cognitive activity of future music teachers; implementation of reflection. The cognitive criterion for the formation of the design skills of the future music teachers in training was revealed through the following indicators: knowledge of the structure of pedagogical design and the design skills content; awareness on the use of the design skills in training. The modelling criterion for the formation of the design skills of future music teachers was revealed through these indicators: identification of the academic problem; formulation of objectives; planning of educational process; selection of appropriate ways of action and their substantiation; monitoring and evaluation of training activities. Therefore, the process of formation of the design skills of the future music teacher involves a set of targeted, functional, substantive, organizational and productive systems and components; complex of methodical and didactic means. The latter include the phased nature of the formation of the design skills; mastery of the algorithm to perform design activities; the use of the person-centered and systemic approaches; the use of the technological method which provides a solution of the issues of a problematic character.
