Research on a wearable portable vital signs monitoring system based on ad hoc network

Journal Title: Journal of Air Force Medical University - Year 2023, Vol 44, Issue 5

Abstract

A wearable portable vital signs monitoring system based on ad hoc network is designed to solve the problem of difficult networking communication of wearable devices in field medical emergency. Wearable portable vital signs monitoring system is mainly composed of wearable vital signs measuring equipment and information collector. It adopts vital signs signal measuring technology and signal receiving and sending technology to meet the functions of vital signs signal collection, receiving and sending. At the same time, in order to meet the requirements of field communication, this study adopts ad hoc networking technology and fully integrates wireless communication technology to complete networking communication anytime and anywhere. By constructing a wearable portable vital signs monitoring system based on ad hoc network, it can meet the real-time and rapid collection of key physiological indicators such as heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure, respiration and oxygen saturation of the wounded. The network is rapid and convenient, and the network performance is stable, which can provide key support for the vital signs monitoring and remote communication of the wounded in the field environment.
