Research on Leakage Induced Energy Buffer Feedback Unit Based on Flyback Converter

Abstract

The resistance of traditional resistor-capacitor leakage absorption circuit of high-frequency transformer was used to dissipate leakage energy, which leads to the low convertor's efficiency. In this paper, an energy buffer feedback unit based on Flyback converter was proposed to deal with leakage inductance of high-frequency transformers. In addition, the topology and working process of the energy buffer feedback unit were analyzed, and the experimental platform was built. The result shows that when switch tube is turned off, the proposed circuit can not only suppress the transformer leakage inductance resonance voltage spike within1. 2 times of the turn-off voltage, but also effectively utilize the absorbed leakage inductance energy.
