Research progress in detection method for bisphenol A in food packaging materials
Journal Title: Shanghai Journal of Preventive Medicine - Year 2023, Vol 35, Issue 6
Abstract
As an industrial chemicalï¼ bisphenol A is widely used in various food packaging materials. Howeverï¼ it is an endocrine disrupting chemicalï¼ which has estrogen activity and can cause certain damage to humans. So farï¼ there are few studies on the detection of bisphenol A in self-heating food packaging materialsï¼ and there remains a lack of relevant standard. Thereforeï¼ it is necessary to establish a simpleï¼ sensitive and efficient method for the detection of bisphenol A in self-heating food. This study briefly introduces the pretreatment methods of bisphenol Aï¼ such as ultrasonic extractionï¼ solid phase extractionï¼ accelerated solvent extractionï¼ and detection methodsï¼ such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometryï¼ high performance liquid chromatographyï¼ fluorescent detectionï¼ and electrochemical detection.
