Research status of non-drug treatment of vestibular migraine
Journal Title: Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases - Year 2024, Vol 50, Issue 7
Abstract
Due to the limitations of drug treatment of vestibular migraine VM,the exploration of non-drug treatment is particularly important. In recent years, the research on non-drug treatment of VM mainly focuses on four aspects:lifestyle management, vestibular rehabilitation training, neuroregulatory therapy and acupuncture therapy. A number of studies suggest that all VM patients should consider vestibular rehabilitation training, but the choice of neuroregulatory therapy stimulation and adverse reactions after treatment still need to be systematically studied. A comprehensive description of non-drug therapy for VM is helpful to develop a more comprehensive and scientific treatment plan for VM patients.
