Abstract

Purpose: assessment of efficacy of step-by-step complex treatment of patients with chronic relapsing central serous horioretinopathy using method of focal laser coagulation and subthreshold microimpulse laser influence. Materials and methods: analysis of clinical functional results of 10 patients (10 eyes) with chronic relapsing central serous horioretinopathy after step-by-step treatment using method of focal laser coagulation and subthreshold microimpulse laser influence was carried out. Patients were checked using the standard methods. Results: when complaints were analyzed the following was revealed: grey stain, micropsias and metamorphopsias disappearance during the first month of examination. Visual acuity increased from 0.55±0,05 to 0.85±0.07 till the end of the first month. Retina thickness in central zone lessened from 437±30 mcm to 310±39 mcm, edema resorption in main group on day 47±3, in control group on day 94±2. Conclusions: complex step-by-step combination of focal laser coagulation of retina and subthreshold microimpulse laser influence is effective method of treatment and allows to accelerate process of rehabilitation in patients with chronic form of central serous horioretinopathy.
