RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF A TOTAL SYSTEM OF FORMATION AND CORRECTION OF LINGUISTIC DEVELOPMENT CONCERNED BY SPECIALLY CHILDREN OF YOUNG SCHOOLS

Abstract

The generalized results of an experimental study of the introduction of an integral system for the formation and correction of speech activity of mentally retarded children of primary school age are presented. The conceptual foundations of the experimental system are presented. Prospective directions of pedagogical and psycholinguistic work on formation and correction of speech activity of the selected category of children are determined. As a result, the generalized symptoms of the semiotic subsystem (at expressive and impressive levels), identified at the final stage of research, subsystems of programming and regulation in children with mental retardation in most cases have the appropriate syndromes. The research results confirmed our assumptions that, in spite of certain scientific developments in the context of the problem under study, its insufficient development both in the theoretical and in the practical direction remains topical. This confirms the need of research work on the problem and correction of speech activity formation of mentally retarded children of primary school age.
