RESULTS OF X-RAY EXAMINATION OF THE TOOTH-JAW SYSTEM FOR PERSONS WITH CONGENITAL ADENTIA OF LATERAL INCISORS OF THE UPPER JAW

Abstract
Introduction. During the treatment planning for patients with congenital absence of upper lateral incisors, there are a number of important points that are need to be clarified for further effective and adequate invasive treatment, in particular - the features of the x-ray system of the tooth-jaw system, which will significantly affect the choice of the method of further orthodontic intervention. The aim of the study. To determine the peculiarities of the state of the tooth-jaw system for persons with congenital adentiy of lateral incisors of the upper jaw Materials and methods of research. Comprehensive examination of 97 patients with congenital adentiy of lateral incisors with usage of the X-ray methods. Results. The choice of the method of treatment of adentia of lateral incisors of the upper jaw to maximize the recovery of both functional and aesthetic indicators of the tooth-jaw system should be made with taking into account the parameters of X-ray examination, namely: orthopantomography, lateral TRG , computed tomography. Conclusions. The results obtained during the X-ray examination of patients must be taken into account when choosing the methods of complex treatment of adentia of the lateral incisors.
