RETIRMENT AGE: WILLINGNESS OF THE EMPLOYEES TO CONTINUE WORKING

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to justify the choice of diagnostic method for older workers' readiness to continue working at retirement age and to clarify the content of the methodology. The choice of the survey method is proved as the most relevant one. An authentic questionnaire is proposed to reveal the attitudes of employees 50+ to continue working at retirement age. The questionnaire assesses the personal and socio-psychological factors of retirement decisions. It consists from ten thematic blocks: intentions to continue working in retirement age; the nature of work; health status; financial comfort; fatigue and stress; job satisfaction; family conflict and work; motives for work; socio-demographic information. The proposed questionnaire is supposed to be a universal diagnostic tool for the enterprises of any industry type. Its use allows to identify the staff intentions of retirement and to find out the motives for work at older age. The results of the questionnaire will enable the company to elaborate the measures for older workers retention, knowledge transfer, succession planning and preparing younger employees for the vacancies due to mass retirement
