REVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF POLISH TRANSPORT MARKET AND NECESSARY CHANGES RESULTED FROM DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES IN WEST EUROPEAN TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Abstract
From the beginning of present decade one may observe greater willingness to economic cooperation in the East and West European countries. These changes have resulted in dynamic development of intermodal transportation. For Polish transport market, such situation impose a necessity of adaptation to proper services rendered to Polish foreign trade and transit. Transformation's tendencies which occured on Polish transport market follows the directions of transport policy in the European Union. The paper present analysis of possibilities refered to some changes in transport services offered to international trade - directed on the development ofmultimodal transport emracing sea routes in European relations.
