RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL: PRACTICE OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND IMPLEMENTATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article studies the principle and the main structural elements of the right to a fair trial. Based on the analysis of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, modern understanding of the right to a fair trial, as one of the elements of the supremacy of law principle, has been elaborated. Conceptual framework is defined to improve the process of imple- mentation of the European Court of Human Rights practice on the application of Art. 6 of the Convention to the national legal system.
