ROLE OF JUDICIARY IN MAINTAINING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION, THE PRACTICE OF SUSTAINABILITY DEVELOPMENT AND LAW:-AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF ROLE OF THE JUDICIARY INDIA

Abstract
The Role of Judiciary in India in empowering the Sustainable Development is same as of spine of a human body. The Sustainable Development and Environment Protection are being enforced by Honorable Supreme Court and other Honorable High Courts and Courts of India by enforcing the strict implementations under various articles of Constitution of India for welfare and protection of citizens of India against all forms of dangers caused to them and as well as eliminating all forms of threats to Environment. The various public welfare schemes, concept of Sustainable Development, The legal provisions for Environment Protection are explained within the jurisdiction of Law of Land (Constitution of India). The judicial provisions in support of Sustainable Development for empowering the community welfare with precedence of various case record references at Desk of Honorable Judiciary of India are discussed explaining different segments of Sustainable Development and its impact on Society.
