Abstract

Considering the Pedagogical Competence of the Early Primary School EducationTeachers The specific character of the teaching and educational activities within the early primary school education requires teachers to have particular abilities. The type and value of the undertaken didactic efforts are conditioned upon the sphere of the teacher’s personality, meaning practical and moral competence. They are equally impacted by further areas linked to the technical side of the teachers’ work, namely their normative competence, teaching methods-related skills, and goal orientation. Due to the fact that teaching work is marked by the prominence of non-standardized practices and focused on communication exchanges, it needs to be noted that teachers’ competence is subject to constant change. In the process of fulfilling the demands of primary school education, the teacher’s competence allows him or her to take on roles of an expert, a manager, and an organizer. They become those who inspire and integrate.
