Abstract
In the article are investigated nature, goals and means of influencing of the phenomenon of «Russkiy Mir». What it is? What are the implications of this project today and what can we expect tomorrow? What is the essence of the project and what is its mobilization potential based on? These are the main issues of the study. In the article is shown that the project arose as a result of Russia’s searching for answers to changing its own position in the world (due to the collapse of the USSR, the change of the political landscape of Europe and the political course of the RF itself). In the 1990s, Russia tried to preserve its influence on the former Soviet republics, which became the path to independence, in any way. All of these are resulted in a series of military conflicts, but they were not sufficiently ideologically elaborated.. The author concludes that in any development of events, and the prospect of thinking that opens within the framework of the «Russkiy Mir» paradigm – taking into account its consolidated resource demand and the influence on contemporary perceptions and the interpretation of historical events will remain a significant factor in shaping Russia’s policy now.
