Abstract
The EU legislator indicated that it is necessary to introduce methods of out-of-court dispute resolution in the telecommunications sector. The body that is in charge of the ¬out-of-court dispute resolution in Poland is a permanent consumer arbitration court under the care of the President of UKE. The analysis of the provisions of the Telecommunications Law that regulate the proceeding before the aforementioned court leads to the conclusion that the conditions indicated in the EU law are fulfilled. However, there are some doubts as regards the condition of transparency of proceeding before the permanent arbitration court.
