Scheme of High Speed Contact Rail System for 120 km/h and above
Journal Title: Urban Mass Transit - Year 2024, Vol 27, Issue 6
Abstract
Objective In order to meet the demand for traction current collection in rail transit at the speed of 120 km/h and above, the research on high speed contact rail system is conducted and a complete optimization scheme is proposed. Method Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of shoe rail current collection, the idea about optimizing the quality of the high speed current collection is put forward. Optimization measures are proposed from the aspects of design, plane layout, construction and installation of the contact rail parts, and a complete scheme for the high speed contact rail system is formed. Two methods of reducing the ramp slope and adding elastic elements to the ramp support at the ends are adopted, aiming to reduce the impact force and prolong the action time for the shoe rail contact improvement. The insulation sectionalizer is used to replace the mechanical fracture. The elevation of the connecting passage is raised to be flush with the evacuation platform. The power section at the station end is laid out in the light of the turnout to reduce the quantity of contact rail fractures. The insulation span is appropriately shortened to reduce the deflection of contact rail. Modular assembly is adopted to improve construction accuracy of the contact rail. Result & Conclusion The above measures improve the current collection quality of the contact rail system, raising that of the contact rail at the speed of 120 km/h and above.
