Scientific and Extrascientific Knowledge is the Alternative or Dialogue?

Abstract

The paper focuses on the attempt to correlate such notions as scientific and extrascientific knowledge based on the peculiarities of modern post-classical world view. In order to get that done the author reveals the main key moments distinguishing classical and post-classical world view. The text gives valuable information on the scientific and extrascientific knowledge. On the whole, the author outlines that post-classical knowledge is built on the recognition of the subjectness of any possible knowledge. The crucial role of the observer and watching facilities while getting scientific knowledge is observed. The author of the article states that classical learning was formed under the influence of setting for knowledge rationality. Moreover, it is analyzed that post-classical science definitely takes into account the irrational balance. The main attention is drawn to the increasing irrational points of knowledge which are typical for post-classics knowledge. Attempts are made to analyze and formulate the key concepts of modern classical and post-classical world view. Conclusions are drawn that the main peculiarities of post-classical science requires the dialogue between scientific and extrascientific knowledge.
