Abstract
The article reveals the contribution of the Department of Pedagogy of the Nizhyn Gogol State University in development of the basic Departments direction’s of activity during the period from 2008 to 2017. The input of the Head of Pedagogy Department of Nizhyn Gogol State University, Сandidate of Science in Pedagogy, Professor Kovalenko Ye. I. into development of the main activity of the department is presented in the study. The role of scientific and pedagogical work of scientists in reforming and building of the national education system and its organizational and pedagogical status in the period 2008–2017 are addressed in the article.
