Connected with agricultural income and its determinants, as well as an attempt to indicate potential directions for the development of agricultural income research. The literature review indicated the need for precise application of income concepts, the differences between the main research perspectives and the sources of data used and the specificity of the income statement due to the multi-occupancy and the co-existence of households and farms in the case of family farms. In the second part of the paper, the possibility of examining agricultural income in a regional perspective was considered, including the relation between resources and the use of financial analysis methods.
