SEMIOTIC ASPECTS OF LAUGHTER (ARTICLE 2)

Abstract
The problem of semiotics nature of laughter is examined. Laughter is examined as a sign that indicatives the emotional or cognitive state of a man, and as a process and result of interpretation of sign, reaction to sign. Possibility of ridiculous as well as possibility of deception is based in the nature of sign. Culture is understood as a system of signs. Laughter temporally releases from the valued norms of culture, exposes a culture as system of signs, system of conventions. But laughter is integrated into culture, entered in a semiotic cultural context. Laughter in the process of social evolution purchased a sign significance. Laughter belongs to the sign-symbolic sphere of human activity and is only human property. Laughter is a pre-language phenomenon. And herein it is similar to the myth. Laughter operates by not concepts, but by images. The language of laughter, as well as the language of myth, is turned not to consciousness, but to unconscious, not to the idea, but to the emotions, it initials connotations. Laughter arises up as a result of interpretation of signs and as a result of understanding of inadequacy of image and reality, disparity between value and sense, sign and reviewer. There is tearing down of conventions, habits and thinking templates. Lying, game, fantasy, nonsense, oxymoron, humor are examined as pre-condition, condition of laughter.
