CULTURE OF TRUST AS REPRESENTATION SOCIAL MEMORY

Abstract

The temporal determinants of formation of the culture of trust in dynamic conditions of complexly organized modern society with the features of meaning translations of social memory are considered in this article. Based on ideas by P. Sztompka, the author treats the culture of trust as a value-normative system of reasonable expectations that sets the shortcut targets jointly and severally responsible behavior and determines social conditions are acceptable ways to implement them due to the actual selection of significant information in social memory. From the standpoint of the theory of social change, the philosophy of everyday life, hermeneutical and axiological approaches examines the reasons for the problematizing of trust in a semantic deformation sociality under the ambivalent impact of cultural trauma. Examines the role of cultural trauma in the formation of identity, the emergence of a syndrome of distrust and formation of culture of trust in a value change of modernity and the confrontation of binary oppositions. Considering the increased of manipulative opportunities of the information society draws attention to the specificity of traumatic discourse, the author reveals the conditions and resources of overcoming cultural trauma. It is noted that the temporal resources of the culture of the trust are effective factors in the formation of civil society in Ukraine, given the dynamics of social activity and the formation of networks of non-state interactions.
