SIDE PRESSURE IN THE CLOSED FORM DURING THE COMPACTION PROCESS OF LIME-SAND MIXTURE

Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the impact of compacted granular materials, for example, lime-sand mixture (used in the manufacture of lime-sand brick), the side walls in a closed form. Based on experimental studies, the side pressure coefficient ξ was determined. Its value allows the calculation of the side pressure on the projected bulk medium height, depending on the applied compaction pressure.
