SINO-US RELATIONS: DURING AND AFTER MAO (1972–2014 YEARS)

Abstract
The author of the article, analysing the evolution of the American-Chinese relations of the newest time, examines the USA and China as basic subjects of modern international relations in their fight for the place of leader in the multiarctic world. Arguing concrete facts and numbers, alluding to researches of the mainly Russian, Ukrainian American, Chinese historians, political scientists, specialists in international law, he not only characterizes the relations of two great powers but also demonstrates their specific, complication, phenomenon. With the arrival of President Barack Obama’s the USA start implementing the strategy «return to Asia» and «wide Pacific». For the sake of objectivity, I note that these actions of the American president were very similar and reminiscent of the «return of the Great East» and «eastern policy 2004–2008, Vladimir Putin». US-Chinese relations are actually generally accepted indicator of political, economic, socio-cultural, scientific and technological trends; their character accordingly depends on the overall global climate, without which any country can plan, direct and conduct its foreign policy. It is these circumstances explains the relevance, novelty and selected issues. However, reservations about the establishment of a regional strategic balance or condominium USA and China in the presence of systemic contradictions between them, although it contains a grain of truth, but at this stage of their relationships seem premature.
