Abstract
Zapisywanie miejsca. Szkice o Śląsku w literaturze przełomu wieków XX i XXI by Elżbieta Dutka is a virgin work devoted to the relationship between a human being and a concrete and real space, it being Silesia. The author focuses on topographies – various ways of inscribing places into the culture, while the place may mean here a concrete localization, phantasmagory, a private homeland or even an internal conception of the author. The researcher is interested in a spacious dimension of human experiences, yet she does not aim at a synthesis of the phenomena observed, but stops at an overview of Silesia in various fields of art and the analysis as well as interpretation of selected works. She bases her discussions on theoretical assumptions by Martin Heidegger, Hanna Buczyńska-Garewicz and Tadeusz Sławek. At the same time, she looks for values that are universal and global in localness, which is not necessarily translatable. Zapisywanie miejsca. Szkice o Śląsku w literaturze przełomu wieków XX i XXI d’Elżbieta Dutka est un travail vierge, consacré à la relation de l’homme avec un espace concret, réel, avec la Silésie. L’auteure se concentre sur les topographies – des moyens différents de noter des lieux dans la culture, où le lieu peut signifier une localisation concrète, une fantasmagorie, une patrie privée ou même une imagination intérieure de l’artiste. La chercheuse s’intéresse à la dimension spatiale de l’expérience humaine, cependant elle ne vise pas à la synthèse des phénomènes observés, elle s’arrête sur la revision de la présence de la Silésie dans de différents domaines d’art et sur l’analyse et l’interprétation des oeuvres choisies. Dutka appuie ses présentations sur des principes théoriques de Martin Heidegger, Hanna Buczyńska-Garewicz et Tadeusz Sławek. Elle cherche également des valeurs universelles, globales dans ce qui est local, ce qui n’est pas toujours traduisible.
