SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PRECONDITIONS OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF THE YOUTH

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of importance of physical education for student youth as basis for healthy lifestyle. But, besides that, author emphasize attention on the social and psychological readiness student youth for physical and sport exercises during studying at the higher educational institutions and in free time. Today the Ukrainian reality strongly influences on the personality, development and health of the younger generation. In addition, with fast spreading of the informational technologies in our country young people began to spend more and more time in the Internet and lead an «virtual lifestyle», which significantly displayed both on the physical activity and sociopsychological development of the young person. Besides socio-economical factors, there are also psycho-emotional, such as: student`s motivation for doing sport and physical exercises, support from friends and relatives to such kind of activity, availability of the appropriate conditions during physical exercises, desire to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. All together they form the preconditions for the physical education of the student youth. That`s why now it`s considered appropriate to distinguish sport and physical activities at higher educational institutes as an important field of realisation of student`s sport and physical activities, which directly influences on the self-development, life position, state of health, career and personal achievements of the youth. Besides that, an important task for the government departments is to activate and increase the interest of the youth for the physical and sport exercises through improvement of the appropriate conditions and changing of the regulatory framework in the field of physical education for enhancement of the gene pool, increasing of the labor potential of the country, promotion of physical health, growth of well-being of the population and solution of other social and economical problems
